Engine Disassembly Process
4. Remove the stator cover from the flywheel
housing.(Photo D)
NOTE: The stator is attached to the inside of the
cover . Note the two alignment dowels as circled in
photo.
5. Photo of stator inside of cover. (Photo E)
6. Remove the water pump cover and impeller.
(Photo F)
NOTE: The impeller can be removed by turning the
nut counter--clockwise. Hold the flywheel stationary
while removing the impeller.
