3. Remove the drain plug and allow to drain completely.
4. Clean the drain plug.
5. Reinstall the drain plug with a new o-ring and torque
to specification.
6. Add the recommended fluid through the fill plug hole.
Maintain the fluid level even with the bottom of the fill
plug hole when filling. Do not overfill.
7. Reinstall the fill plug.
8. Check for leaks.
9. Discard the used lubricant properly.
FINAL DRIVE / WHEEL AND TIRE
Wheel, Hub, and Spindle Torque Table
NOTE: Do not lubricate the stud or the lug nut.
Wheel Removal
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place the transmission in gear and stop the engine.
3. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly. If wheel hub removal
is required, remove the cotter pin and loosen the hub
nut slightly.
4. Elevate the appropriate side of the vehicle by placing
a suitable jack and stand under the frame.
5. Remove the wheel nuts and remove the wheel.
6. If hub removal is required, remove the hub nut and
washers.
Wheel Installation
1. Verify the transmission is in gear.
2. Install the wheel hub, washers, and hub nut, if
previously removed.
3. Place the wheel in the correct position on the wheel
hub. Make sure the valve stem is toward the outside
and rotation arrows on the tire point toward forward
rotation.

18 ft-lbs (24 Nm)
