TRANSMISSION DISASSEMBLY, CONT.
4. Mark chain rotation direction for assembly. Note
location of chain tensioner cam. If fully extended,
chain is worn beyond service limit. Replace chain
and chain tensioner shoe.
5. Remove chain tensioner along with mounting pins
and spring.
6. Remove rear output gear and chain as an assembly
by lifting straight outward.
