TRANSMISSION DISASSEMBLY, CONT.
10. Turn transmission so shafts are pointing down. Slide
the Low gear in and out until needlebearingslidesout
ofgearandcanberemoved. Removeneedlebearing,
low gear, and inner thrust washer .
11. Inspect shift dogs for excessive rounding on the
leading edges. Replace if worn.
12. Remove low range shift fork and dog. Replace along
with mating gear if wear is evident.
