SUSPENSION: SPRING
PRELOAD

FRONT SUSPENSION
G Compress and release front suspension.
Damping should be smooth throughout
the range of travel.
G Check all front suspension components
for wear or damage.
G Inspect front strut cartridges for leakage.
REAR SUSPENSION
Rear Spring
Adjustment Cam
G Compress and release rear suspension.
Damping should be smooth throughout
the range of travel.
G Check all rear suspension components
for wear or damage.
G Inspect shock for leakage.
CONTROLS
Check controls for proper operation, positioning
and adjustment.
Brake control and switch must be positioned to allow
brake lever to travel throughout entire range without
contacting switch body.
WHEELS
Inspect all wheels for runout or damage. Check wheel
nuts and ensure they are tight. Do not over tighten the
wheel nuts. Apply Loctitet 271 (PN 2871954)tothe
wheel studs whenever reinstalling the wheel nuts.

WHEEL REMOVAL:
FRONT OR REAR
1. Stop the engine, place the transmission in gear
and lock the parking brake.
2. Loosen the wheel nuts slightly.
3. Elevate the side of the vehicle by placing a
suitable stand under the footrest frame.
