8. Remove hub nut and hub assembly.
9. Remove cotter pin and nut from lower A-arm ball
joint.
10. Remove lower A-arm from ball joint using a ball joint
fork tool.
11. Pull strut assembly out while pivoting the CV drive
shaft away until it clears the strut assembly.
12. Pull outward sharply on CV shaft assembly to
remove it from the gearcase. In some instances, the
splines may be corroded, making removal difficult. A
slide hammer or other suitable device may be
required for removal.
