33. Remove the snap ring and shim from the snorkel
shaft.
34. Use an arbor press to remove the snorkel tube from
the snorkel shaft.
35. Remove the snap ring and shim retaining the bearing
in the snorkel tube.
36. Lightly tap on the bearing from the opposite side to
remove it from the snorkel tube.
37. To remove the remaining bearing on the snorkel
shaft, remove the retaining ring and press the
bearing off.
38. Remove all seals from the gearcase halves and
clean the cases in preparation for assembly.
