Assembly
1. Thoroughly clean the gearcase components before
beginning reassembly.
2. Install a new seal in the main gearcase halve.
3. Install the input shaft assembly. Install the pinion
gear/ bearing assembly (1). Install a new seal and o-
ring the input shaft cover (2) prior to reassembly.
4. Install the snap ring retaining the input shaft
assembly.
5. Install the eccentric cam assembly (1).
6. Install the splined armature plate (2).
