GENERAL SERVICE INFORMATION
Recommended Service Intervals
Walker Evans™ Racing Shocks will perform the best if
serviced at regular intervals:
• Every ride - Wash and dry the vehicle and suspension
• Every 100 hours - Visually inspect shock seals
• Every 1500 miles or Annually - Change shock oil and
replace seals
NOTICE
If leakage from a remote shock reservoir hose fitting is
evident, check for a loose fitting and seal threads with
Three Bond 1215 (PN 2871557).
SPRING ADJUSTMENT (WALKER
EVANS™)
The front and rear shocks have a spring adjustment
setting

. Suspension springs may be adjusted to suit
different riding conditions or vehicle payloads.
WARNING
Uneven adjustment may cause poor handling of the
vehicle, which could result in an accident and serious
injury or death. Always adjust both the left and right
springs equally.

NOTICE
Refer to the shock illustrations for spring measurement

The factory setting is appropriate for nearly all riding
conditions. If desired, the spring setting may be adjusted
to maintain vehicle clearance height when carrying
loads.
1. Raise and safely support the front or rear of the
vehicle off the ground to allow the suspension to fully
extend.
2. Using a Shock Spanner Wrench, loosen the upper
jam nut adjustment ring.

3. Turn the lower adjustment ring clockwise (+) to
increase ride height or counter-clockwise (-) to
decrease ride height.
IMPORTANT
DO NOT increase the spring adjustment by more than
one inch (25.4 mm) over the factory setting.
