Symptom Possible Problem Corrective Action
Engine Starts and Dies Electrical System Disconnect one injector . If voltage
on others jumps, check stator out-
put.
Always check for loose wires,
pins, connectors.
Check ALL splice blocks and Buss
bars.
Check circuit breakers and fuses.
Check capacitor. Voltage should
bleed down after engine is
stopped. If abrupt, replace capac-
itor.
ALL W/RED circuits should have
39--45VDC when engine is run-
ning.
ALL RED/PUR circuits should
have at least 12V when engine is
running. (Unless on operator
switched circuit).
