To
installthe batteries,
open the
battery
compartment
by slio-
ing down
the door
on the
back of
the unit
(1).
lnsert_each
bat-
teiv
rn the direction
shown
inside lhe compartment
(2).
Then
push
the door
back
up
lnlo
posltion.
Attaching
and
remov¡ng
the flash
unit
Attach the
unit to the
top
of the
camera
shutter
housing
just
as
you
would
insert
a Flashbar.
Holding the
camera
as shown,
hook the locking
tab
(3,A)
over
the
ridge on
the camera,
push
the blade
(3,B)
into the
Flashbar
socket,
and
continue
pushing
over and down
untilthe
locking tab
(3,C)
snaps
in
place
over
the ridge on
the opposite
side of
the camera
You can
load f ilm
while the
f lash unit
is on the
camera
To remove the
unit,
push
the
foot out and
l¡ft up
(4)'
Remove
the flash unit
for all
non-flash
pictures.
The
llash controls
On/Off
switch
(5,A). Push the
switch
loward
I
(On)
To avoid
battery draina§e,
push
the switch
toward O
(Off) when the
unit
is
not in use.
