Zoom In or Out the Image
1. Set the camera mode to

2. Press the or button to zoom in or out the subject. While you
press the and buttons, a white square will show on the zoom
status bar as illustrated. The white square in the bar indicates the zoom
status.

3. Keeping the
button pressed lets the camera switch from optical
zoom to digital zoom when it reaches the maximum optical zoom. (Make
sure the digital zoom is set on.)The digital zoom status is shown on the
LCD screen.
4. Now you can take pictures and video clips, and playback them under
the zoom setting. The zoom setting will remain after taking pictures
and video clips. If you want to take a normal size picture or video clip,
please use the
button.

• Zoom feature is available in

• Using the digital zoom may cause a decrease in image quality.
