9 Transferring Pictures and Video Clips
to a Computer
• Before you Transfer Pictures
IMPORTANT! (For Windows® 98SE Only)
Before you transfer your pictures make sure you have installed the Polaroid
Digital Camera Driver from the CD. Please refer to “Installing the Software onto a
Computer” on page 77.
• Connecting the Camera to Your Computer via USB Cable
Connecting with the USB cable.
To USB
Plug
AV/USB/DC cable
into
the port of your camera
USB Series “A” plug connects
to your computer
1. Turn the camera off.
2. Plug the
labelled end of the USB cable into the
marked socket
on your computer.
3.
Plug the other end of the USB cable into the port on your camera.
4. Turn on the camera and an interface “Found New Hardware” will show
on the computer desktop.
5. A removable disk drive will be installed onto your computer
automatically.
NOTE:
It is recommended to use AC adapter when the camera is connected to a computer.
