Manage Near-End Video Clarity
Modify the Target Frame Rate to improve video clarity. The Target Frame Rate defines how smoothly
video displays. Users may set a rate between 5 (least smooth) and 30 (smoothest). The default rate is
30.
1. Navigate to Settings > Basic > Video.
2. Select Camera Settings > Target Frame Rate.
3. Tap Up or Down to adjust the frame rate.
4. Tap Save.
Manage Near-End Video Layout
During a video call, video displayed from meeting participants may be modified.
1. During a video call, tap Layout.
2. Select one of the following layout options:
Auto (default) - The system chooses the best layout for the call.
Gallery View - Up to five meeting participants display. If content is displayed when the
maximum number of participants is active, the content replaces one participant. When there
are less than five participants, self-view displays.
Picture-in-Picture (PIP) - Only self-view or the active speaker display. The PIP displays in or
on the meeting content.
Fullscreen - The video of the active speaker or the meeting content displays in full screen.
3. Tap Save.
Manage Near-End Video Quality
Users may adjust camera settings on the Polycom Trio system to improve video quality being sent out
during a call.
1. Select Camera in the Call Screen or, tap Menu and select Camera.
2. Tap Settings to access Camera Preferences.
3. Adjust or toggle the following camera settings:
Brightness
White balance
Saturation
Sharpness
Backlight compensation
4. Tap Save.
