Add Corporate Directory Contacts to the Local Directory
Users may be permitted to add Corporate Directory contacts to the Local Directory.
When a Corporate Directory contact is saved to the Local Directory, the first name, last name, and
phone number of the contact are automatically saved to the directory. Additional contact information
can be entered after the contact is saved to the local directory.
In the Corporate Directory:
1. Search for a contact.
2. Select the desired contact and tap View.
3. Tap Save in the Details view.
4. Enter any additional contact information in the Details view and tap Save again.
Calendar
When connected to Microsoft Exchange Server, users may view and join meetings that are scheduled in
Microsoft Outlook from Polycom Trio or on the monitor connected to a device which is paired to your
Polycom Trio system, such as the Polycom Trio Visual+.
Open the Calendar
Users can access the calendar on Polycom Trio to view and join scheduled
meetings. Users may review meetings for the current day and upcoming
meetings. Meetings on previous days cannot be viewed from the Trio system.
Note: When logged in using the Skype for Business user account, the
calendar feature provides access to view and join scheduled meetings on the
Outlook calendar, as well.
On the Home screen:
Tap the Calendar icon to display your scheduled meetings for the
day.
View Meeting Details
Users may tap to select a meeting in the calendar and review the start and end times, location, organizer,
invitees, and meeting description.
Meeting Reminders
When logged into a Skype for Business or Exchange Server account,
reminder notifications display for scheduled meetings on the calendar and
an alert tone may sound at 5 minutes and 1 minute before the meeting time.
Meeting reminders allow users to view meeting details and join the meeting.
Set Meeting Reminder Type
1. Navigate to Settings > Basics > Preferences.
2. Select Calendar Settings > Reminder Settings.
3. Tap to select one of the following meeting reminder types:
Silent – The meeting reminder displays without an alert tone.
