Plunger Spring
The solenoid operates by energizing
a coil which creates a magnetic field
which pulls down the plunger. When
the plunger pulls down, it should
"bottom out" in the solenoid. The
plunger itself does not apply any
pressure to the feed roller bearing.
The plunger is open on top so
only the strap feed roller spring applies
a force to the strap feed roller bearing
shaft.

presses up on the feed roller bearing.
There should be a gap between the
feed roller bearing and the strap in
this position.
