Redial
. Dial directly from a selected number.
3. If desired, enter a new speed dial
index. For example, enter speed dial
index as 1. This assigns the entry
to the fi rst available line key on the
display,
OR when editing the contact, press
and hold an unassigned line key.
This will automatically assign the
speed dial index which is required to
assign that line key as a speed dial
for the contact. A confi rmation beep
is heard when this happens.
4. Press
Save to confi rm or Cancel to
abandon the change then press Exit
to return to the idle display.
Idle display could now be as shown:
On a default confi guration of the phone,
there could be up to fi ve line keys avail-
able for speed dial.
To dial a number assigned to a Line Key,
simply press the line key directly opposite
the number on the display.
Multiple Lines
SoundPoint
®
IP 600/601 SIP can support
up to six lines. Lines can be confi gured for
private or shared lines.
Typically, the top-most line key is reserved for
the principle directory number of the phone.
Depending on how your phone is confi gured,
the display could resemble one of the displays
shown:
