Parameters setting are unlocked by default. To lock and unlock parameters, the user should
introduce a password. This password is a number, the range of which goes from 1 to 9999, and the
user should create or register it to activate any lock (options ‘PARTIAL’ or ‘TOTAL’). To unlock
parameters (option ‘NO’), user should introduce the password registered when parameters was
locked.
2.5.1. Lock Parameters
In order to lock parameters, it is necessary that they are unlocked. Then, the user should follow
the next steps:
1. Access to the configuration parameter ‘G1.1 Î Lock parameters’ in group ‘G1 Options’. For
this, tap on ‘G Configuration group’ menu in the initial screen firstly, and then, tap on group
‘G1 Options’. See the full navigation tree in the figure below.
2. Tap on the value cell of the parameter ‘G1.1 Î Lock parameters’. A dialogue window of
parameter configuration will appear with the available configuration options.
3. Tap on option ‘PARTIAL’ or ‘TOTAL’, depending on the locking level. After selecting the
option, tap on ‘OK’ button. The dialogue window of password configuration will appear. This
dialogue window shows the minimum and maximum allowed values for the password.
4. Introduce the password number (any value from 1 to 9999) and tap on ‘OK’ button. The
password is registered, the dialogue window will be closed and the parameter is updated.
Now, the parameters lock is activated (the locking level depending on the user selection).
Note: Remember the password introduced when locking parameters since the same password
should be introduced again to unlock parameters.
Finally, the following figure shows the full navigation tree to lock parameters with option
‘PARTIAL’.
