  If your POWERWINCH Fishing Equipment winch isn't working, first ensure it's getting power by checking the battery is fully charged and all connections are tight and clean, and that wires aren't worn or bare. As a test only, bypass the circuit breaker to see if the winch runs. If it does, the circuit breaker is faulty and needs replacement. Remember, do not operate the winch without a properly functioning circuit breaker.

Another cause could be a kinked chain; unkink it. Also, check if the anchor is wedged in the bow roller and free it if necessary.
