The maximum quantity of uncooked rice is
10 cups. 1 cup of rice is approximately 150 g.
Warning!
- Before assembly or disassembly, switch off
the appliance, remove the mains plug from
the wall socket and wait until the appliance
has cooled down.
Caution!
- Do not exceed the maximum quantity
indicated on the water level indicator on
the inside of the inner pot.
Place the appliance on a stable and flat •
surface.
Open the lid (4).•
Remove the inner pot (6) from the appliance.•
Measure the rice with the measuring cup (9).•
Wash the rice in cold water.•
Put the pre-washed rice in the inner pot (6).•
Fill the inner pot (6) with water. Make sure •
that the water level corresponds to the
number of cups of rice used. For example:
Fill the inner pot with water up to level 4
to cook 4 cups of rice. The water quantity
can be increased or decreased according
to taste or rice variety.
Place the inner pot (6) into the appliance. •
Make sure that the inner pot (6) contacts
the heating element (7).
Close the lid (4).•
Insert the mains plug into the wall socket. •
The keep-warm indicator (3) comes on.
To switch on the appliance, press the on/off •
button (1). The cook indicator (2) comes
on. The keep-warm indicator (3) goes off.
The appliance starts cooking the rice.
To interrupt the process, press the on/off •
button (1). The cook indicator (2) goes off.
If the process is completed, the appliance •
will switch to keep-warm mode. The keep-
warm indicator (3) comes on.
If necessary, stir the rice using the rice •
scoop (8).
Remove the rice from the inner pot (6) •
using the rice scoop (8).
Remove the mains plug from the wall socket. •
The keep-warm indicator (3) goes off.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely.•
