It’s important for these numbers to be eas-
ily located and to be put at the top of the
phonebook. For this reason, the following
applies to the contact name corresponding
to these numbers:
0 + X + Name
Where X is a number between 1 and 9.
This means that ICE contacts should be
entered and displayed in the phonebook as
follows:
01 Anne
02 Husband
03 Mother
Although this input is very useful, it has
never been decided that the number must
be called by an emergency service. There’s
currently no obligation to do this, which is
why the contact person entered using this
method is usually called when already in
the hospital.
