Rear parking sensors
DOIUW006R19009
When engaged in a reverse gear posi-
tion, the rear parking sensors transmit
and receive the ultrasonic signals.
Not all obstructions are sensed. Look out
for obstructions near the vehicle to park
safely.
Operation
The parking aid system has four-level
distance sensors, an electronic control
unit (ECU) and a buzzer. The ECU calcu-
lates the time completed to transmit and
receive the ultrasonic signals to measure
the distance from the obstructions. The
buzzer in turn sounds tell you with dif-
ferent beeps.

When the system senses an obstruction,
a beeper sounds as shown in the tables.
