2. Make sure the centre position of
the head restraint aligns to your
eye level. This configuration helps
to decrease the risks of injury in a
collision.
NOTE
After any adjustment, move the head
restraint to make sure that the head re-
straint is locked in position.
CAUTION
(1) Correctly adjusted head re-
straints give you proper protec-
tion.
(2) Do not put any item between
your back and the seat back;
This can reduce the effective-
ness of the head restraint.
(3) For maximum protection, the
back of your head must be
placed against the centre of
the head restraint.
How to remove the head
restraints *

1. While you push the height-adjust-
ment knob, move the head re-
straint.
2. Disengage the two holders of the
head restraint from its slots.
CAUTION
Do not drive without head re-
straints or with incorrectly adjusted
head restraints.
How to install the head restraints *
1. Install the two holders of the head
restraint to its slots. Make sure the
head restraint faces the correct dir-
ection.
2. While you push the height-adjust-
ment knob, move the head re-
straint. Make sure the centre posi-
tion of the head restraint aligns to
your eye level.
NOTE
After any adjustment, move the head
restraint to make sure that the head re-
straint is locked in position.

You and your passengers must correctly
wear the seat belts. The seat belts give
protection to you and your passengers
in a collision.
CAUTION
(1) One seat belt is only for one
person.
(2) Do not wear the top part of
the seat belt under your arm
or out position.
(3) Always put the lap-part of the
seat belt as low as possible and
near your hip-bones.
(4) Do not wear a twisted seat
belt.
(5) Adjust your seatback to a cor-
rect vertical position. If the seat
back is in a recline position,
you can be out position from
the seat belt and cause injury.
