restraint system only in the
rear seat.
(7) If necessary, only install a
front-facing child restraint sys-
tem in the rear passenger seat.
If a front facing child restraint
system is installed in the front
passenger seat, set the front
passenger seat fore-aft adjust-
ment in the rearmost position.
Infant and toddler passengers

For infant passengers, use a suitable in-
fant carrier type child restraint system.
Vehicle seatbelt is not suitable for use
with toddlers as the belt will cover their
faces or throats. Use a suitable child re-
straint system for your toddler.
Ensure the child restraint system is in-
stalled properly in the vehicle before
use. Please install according to the spe-
cific user manual of the child restraint
system.
When you install a child restraint seat,
refer to the instructions manual that
comes with the child restraint seat.
NOTE
PROTON recommends fitment testing
of any child restraint system with the
vehicle prior to purchase. Some child
restraint system may not be compatible
with the vehicle design.
Larger child-passenger

Larger child-passenger is recommended
to sit in the rear seat and use a booster
type child restraint system together with
the vehicle seatbelt.
CAUTION
(1) Larger children-passengers
who do not wear the seat belt
can be thrown out from the
vehicle in an accident.
