The front airbag MAY NOT deploy:
1. When the vehicles hits a utility-pole,
tree or equivalent object.
2. When the vehicle hits the undercar-
riage of another vehicle, for example
a truck.
3. When the vehicle hits an obstruction
at an angle.
NOTE
The front area of the vehicle body
collapses to absorb the energy from
front-collision. Under these condi-
tions, the front airbag may not de-
ploy caused by the collapsing of the
vehicle body.
The front airbag WILL NOT deploy:
4. When another vehicle (B) hits behind
your vehicle (A).
5. When another vehicle (B) hits the
side of your vehicle (A).
6. When your vehicle rolls over onto its
side or roof.
NOTE
Under these specified conditions, the
front airbag does not deploy and
cannot give protection to the driver
and front passenger.
The front airbag MAY deploy:
7. When the vehicle hits a lifted road
divider or equivalent object.
8. When the vehicle hits into a hole.
