Safety precautions for front airbags
WARNING
THE VEHICLE HAS FRONT AIRBAGS.
(1) Do not rest your head or chest
on the steering wheel or the
instrument panel.
(2) Do not place your feet or leg
against the instrument panel
above the glove box.
(3) Keep infants and small chil-
dren-passengers in the child
restraint seat .
(4) While the passenger airbag is
active, Do not install the rear-
face type of child restraint seat
in the front seat. The force of
a passenger airbag that inflates
can push that specified child
restraint seat into the seat and
cause injury. Use the rear-face
type of child restraint seat only
in the rear seat.
If the situation permits, use the
front-face type of child re-
straint seat in the rear seat. If
you use the specified child re-
straint seat in the front seat,
adjust the seat as far to the
rear.
