Machine description
The PROXXON FBS 240/E preci sion bore grinder is de-
signed for grinding and boring operations too precise and
detailed for standard drills. The precision bore grinder is
ideal for working on steel, non-ferrous metal, glass,
wood, ceramics and more. Its applications include pre-
cision boring, grinding, polish ing, brushing, derusting, en-
graving, enchasing, and disagreggat ing.
The quiet-running permanent-magnet motor provides
powerful torque over the entire speed range. The anti-
lash precision ball bearings of the drill spindle facilitate
optimal true-run turning. The spindle head is turned out
for easy mounting of PROXXON collet chucks (available
as accessory).
