This equipment has a polarized plug that fits one way in a polarized outlet. If it does not fit, reverse the plug.
Before operating, inspect for visible damage and ensure rubber feet are secure and not deteriorated.
Do not open the case; internal UV radiation can cause eye damage. Opening the case invalidates the warranty.
Connect only to 110/120V AC. Never connect to DC. Do not use the cord as a handle or pull by the cord.

Place the unit on a flat surface for optimal operation and stability.
Plug the power cord into a 110/120 volt AC electrical outlet.
Flip the switch to the 'on' position. The light and fan will start, indicating the unit is operating.
Best results are obtained from placing the unit in an elevated spot like the top of a bookshelf or refrigerator.
The unit can be operated on any schedule. Due to low power consumption, continuous use is common.
Keep intake vent and fan clear of dust/debris. Clean by vacuuming with a dusting attachment or using canned compressed air.
