Essential MP 02 instructions
Windows
• Open the appropriate application (Outlook, Gmail, etc.) and select and
exportthecontact (or all contacts) invCardformat.
• Give the file a name <filename.vcf> and save it on the Windows Desktop.
• Locate the MP02’s storage area (PC\MP02\Internal shared storage\Contacts) and
open the Contacts folder
• Copy the vCard file from Windows Desktop to the MP02 Contacts folder.
• On the MP02:
o Go to Contacts > Manage Contacts > Restore Contacts<filename.vcf>.
o Select the vCard file <filename.vcf> that you have just transferred.
o Press the Punkt key to confirm. Your contacts will then be imported.
Updating the MP02’s firmware
It is not necessary to insert a SIM card to follow this procedure.
• Ensure the MP02 has sufficient charge (at least 50%).
• Unlock the phone.
• Press the Punkt key to access the main menu.
• Scroll to Settings and press the Punkt key again.
• Select and press Connectivity.
• Scroll down to and select Wi-Fi.
• Connect to an available network.
• Press the End key to return to the home page.
• Press the Punkt key.
• Scroll down to and select Settings.
• Scroll down to and select About.
• Scroll down to and select Firmware.
• Scroll to and select Check for update.
• The new software will be installed and the MP02 will be rebooted.
