The P500i HEPA Air Purifier removes dust, odors, and other pollutants from the air. It is designed to ensure proper air cleaning in indoor environments, addressing the increasing pollution levels.

Display and Touch Control Panel:
- POWER (short press): Turns the unit on/off.
- POWER (press for 4 sec when unit is on): Turns Wi-Fi on.
- SPEED: Selects between 3 fan speeds and Auto Mode.
- 1 speed: 350 rpm
- 2 speed: 550 rpm
- 3 speed: 800 rpm
- In Auto Mode, fan speed is set automatically based on PM2.5 sensor readings.
- SLEEP: Turns off the light and runs the machine at low speed with low noise.
- TIMER: Sets the machine to turn on/off after 1-12 hours.
- POWER+TIMER (3 sec): Resets the filter's life management function.

PM2.5 Digital Display:
The unit is equipped with a PM2.5 sensor that displays the concentration of particulate matter in the air using digits and a 4-color light indication:
- Green: Excellent Air Quality
- Blue: Good Air Quality
- Yellow: Medium Air Quality
- Red: Poor Air Quality
How to Start:
- Open the filter cover and remove the polybag containing the combination filter.
- Remove the combination filter from the polybag.
- Insert the combination filter into the purifier with the blue side (tagged "FRONT") facing you.
- Close the filter cover firmly.
- Connect the power plug to a power source.
- Press the POWER button on the control panel.
- The purifier will start with a 30-second countdown, then display LED light indication (green, blue, yellow, or red) and digits for the air pollution index.
- Note: Ensure at least 4 inches (10 cm) clearance between the air inlet/outlet and any obstacle.
Fan Speeds:
The fan operates at 3 speeds and an Auto Mode. Use the SPEED button to cycle through speeds. "A" indicates Auto Mode, where speed adjusts based on PM2.5 readings.
Sleep Mode:
Enables the purifier to run at the lowest fan speed with minimal noise and no LED indication. Press the SLEEP button to activate/deactivate.
Timer:
Allows automatic on/off operation (1-12 hours).
- ON timer: When the purifier is OFF, press TIMER. Each press adds one hour.
- OFF timer: When the purifier is ON, press TIMER. Each press adds one hour.
- To disable, press TIMER until "-h" LED indication (for OFF timer) or display turns off (for ON timer).
Child Lock:
Disables buttons on the control panel. Press and hold the LOCK button for 3 seconds to enable/disable.
Wi-Fi Control:
The P500i is compatible with Smart Home Kits (Google, etc.) via the Smart Life app (Android and iOS).
- Download and open the Smart Life app using the provided QR code.
- Log in or Sign up.
- On the Home tab, tap "Add Device."
- Read any tips (e.g., confirm 2.4GHz Wi-Fi).
- Grant required permissions (e.g., location).
- Select "Small Home Appliances" on the left, then "Air Purifier (Wi-Fi)" on the right.
- Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. (Note: 5GHz networks are not supported).
- With the purifier on, press and hold the POWER button until you hear a sound prompt and the WIFI LED flashes.
- In the app, confirm Wi-Fi pairing mode and select "Blink Quickly."
- Wait for the app to find the purifier.
- Press the "+" button and then "Done."
- Note: Once connected, control is possible via Wi-Fi, 4G, or 5G networks.
App Features:
- Power on/off the device.
- Change mode between Manual, Auto, and Sleep.
- Control fan speed (Level 1, 2, 3).
- Control Child Lock and Timer (Schedule).
- Rename the device and link it to Smart Home Kits.
Multi-Account Control:
To use another Smart Life account on a second device:
- Install the Smart Life app on the second device.
- Log in to the account but do not add a new device.
- On the first device, go to PUROXYGEN P500i, press the Edit button (upper right corner).
- Select "Share Device" then "Add Sharing."
- Send the invitation link via messenger.
- Open the link on the second device using Smart Life.
- Accept the invitation.
- The purifier will be added to the list.
- Note: To connect to multiple devices, install the app on each device and log in to the same account.
Maintenance Features
How to Clean (every two months):
- Inlet/outlet grills:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Wipe grills with a slightly damp cloth or vacuum.
- Filters:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Open the filter cover and carefully remove the combination filter.
- Unvelcro the blue pre-filter, handwash with soap, and let it dry.
- Vacuum only the front side of the combination filter and place it in direct sunlight for a few hours.
- Velcro the dried pre-filter back onto the combination filter.
- Reinstall the filter and power on the unit.
- PM2.5 sensor:
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Carefully open the sensor cover on the right side using a flat screwdriver.
- Wipe the sensor's camera and surface with a cotton swab.
- Close the sensor cover.
Filter Replacement:
When the filter indicator turns red, replace the filter.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Open the filter cover by taking the buckle position and pulling it out.
- Remove the used combination filter and pack it in a bag to prevent secondary pollution. Used filters cannot be reused and should be disposed of as non-burnable waste.
- Ensure the new filter matches the slot and close the cover.
- Press the POWER button to turn it on.
- Press the POWER+TIMER buttons for 3 seconds to reset the filter time.
Troubleshooting:
- Machine cannot start: Unplugged power cable.
- Solution: Reconnect power plug.
- Odor in the outlet: Too many indoor pollutants (e.g., smoking) or severely polluted filter.
- Solution: Air out the place, replace the filter.
- No obvious dust removal effect, no air quality improvement: Filter not installed correctly, machine placed in a narrow space or near obstacles, or dirty filter.
- Solution: Install filter correctly, place unit at least a foot away from obstacles, replace with a new combination filter.
- Machine runs with loud noise: Unstable installation or other matters stored in the machine.
- Solution: Check installation, contact customer support, clean from other matters.
- Main buttons do not work: Child Lock mode is turned on.
- Solution: Press and hold LOCK button for 3 seconds to turn off Child Lock.
- Filter cannot be installed: Filter installed from the opposite side with the pre-filter side placed inward.
- Solution: Adjust filter to the right direction ("Front" labels outside) and install from the bottom part of the filter slot.
- Display always shows 500/air quality indicator is constantly red: PM2.5 air quality sensor is dirty.
- Solution: Clean the PM2.5 sensor using a cotton swab as per "HOW TO CLEAN" instructions.
Recycling:
Do not discard with household garbage. Check local regulations for disposing of electrical and electronic products. Recycling resources are provided for the US, Canada, and UK.
Safety Rules:
- Do not use without a filter.
- Use in rooms between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F (40°C).
- Allow space around the purifier for natural airflow.
- Do not insert fingers or objects into air inlet/outlet.
- Do not place near open fire or hot objects.
- Avoid placing in areas with black smoke (e.g., kitchen) to prevent surface cracking or sensor failure.
- Unplug immediately if malfunction occurs (smoking, bad smell).
- Do not disassemble or modify; this voids warranty and can cause malfunction/combustion.
- Clean only with a soft cloth to avoid sensor damage.
- Do not clean with ethyl alcohol or organic solvents to prevent damage, electric shock, or fire.
- Power off and unplug before cleaning or when not in use.
- Do not put LED lights close to human or animal eyes.
- Not intended for use by disabled people, people with mental illness, intellectual disabilities, or children.
