5.2.4 Working modes
ECO mode
Press the MODE button to choose the ECO mode. After 5-second ash, the ECO icon
keeps bright and the ECO mode is conrmed.
In the ECO mode, the refrigerator automatically sets the temperature of fridge
compartment at 5°C and the temperature of freezer compartment at -18°C. All buttons
except the MODE button do not respond to any user operation.
Press the MODE button to exit the ECO mode.
Holiday mode
Press the MODE button to choose the Holiday mode. The Holiday mode is conrmed
after the icon ash 5 seconds.
In the Holiday mode, the fridge temperature is set at 17°C. The FRIDGE button does not
respond to any user operation.
Press the MODE button to exit the Holiday mode.
Super mode
Press the MODE button to select the Super mode. The Super mode is conrmed after
the icon ashes 5 seconds.
In the Super mode, the FREEZER button does not respond to any other operation.
Exit the Super mode by either of the following ways:
- Switch to another mode with the MODE button.
- After 50 hours of the Super mode, the refrigerator automatically stops the Super
mode and switch to the previous setting.
Tip: If you plan to freeze a large volume of food in one time, please set the Super mode
24 hours ahead.
Note: In the Super mode, it is normal that the noise is slightly higher than other modes.
5.2.5 Door open alarm
If the fridge (upper) door is left open for 90 seconds, the refrigerator alarms until the door
is closed.
5.3 Freezing fresh food
The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-
frozen food for a long time.
Place the fresh food to be frozen in the freezer compartment.
The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specied on the rating
plate of the appliance.
The freezing process lasts 24 hours: during this period do not add other food to be
frozen.
5.4 Storing frozen food
When rst starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the product in the
compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on a higher setting.
WARNING: In the event of accidental defrosting, for example the power has been off
for longer than the temperature rise time shown on the rating plate of the appliance, the
defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen
(after being cooked).
5.5 Thawing food
Frozen food can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature before
being cooked, depending on your needs. Follow the food manufacturer’s instructions on
the packaging.
WARNING: Thawed foods cannot be re-frozen. Consume quickly.
