Sengs
Time Server
A me server, also known as an NTP (Network Time Protocol), provides an accurate current
me and date for the NVR. The NVR will refer to when it needs to constantly keep an
accurate me and date on its system. If you need to change the me server IP address,
input the new one into the single eld provided.
Email Sengs
Fill in your email account’s details so that the NVR can send nocaon messages to the
email address account you have provided. Email nocaon messages can include info on
hard drive or camera statuses, and alarm alerts if you have set up your moon detecon
conguraon correctly. If you are unsure of the SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) Port
number or Server name; refer to your email address account ‘Help’ or ‘Conguraon’
opons. Entering your email account details will allow you to complete the sensor and
alarm events setup (see chapter ‘Alarm’ pages 54-56).
