Utilizing the highly effective hemispherical combustion chamber — a design that burns
fuel efficiently while boosting the output — today’s 5.7-liter HEMI V8 powering Ram
pickups features a wealth of technological advantages. Leading the way is the
intelligent Fuel Saver Technology, which articulates some of the finest technology
for both fuel efficiency and power. Fuel Saver seamlessly shuts off four of the eight
cylinders while under a select range of driving conditions. The transformation from a
mighty V8 into a fuel-sipping 4-cylinder has decidedly positive effects on efficient

Along with Fuel Saver is Variable Valve Timing — VVT, where its application in the HEMI
V8 results in better performance and more efficient overall operation. Because VVT

Short Runner Valve (SRV) Active Intake Manifold,
