RAM recommends Dexron rated ATF as hydraulic oil for optimal performance.
For extreme cold conditions (-20° F and below), ISO 15 Hydraulic Oil is recommended.
Avoid biodegradable fluids, mixing fluids, and ensure adequate battery voltage for unit performance.
Table provides recommended wire gauge for battery cables based on length to minimize voltage drop.
Ensure trailer is on a flat, stable surface capable of supporting the trailer's weight before operation.
Avoid lubricating jack tubes to prevent dirt accumulation, which can affect jack operation.
Attach the front metal panel over the HPU housing using supplied hardware once all other steps are complete.
