9.2 Connect waste water drain

The drain connection is on the rear of the unit.

Install the drain to the rear of the unit
a The drain pipe is designed for a DN 50 mm unit drain.
a The drain pipe corresponds to at least type PP and is resistant to high tem-
peratures.
1. Use a 90° angle piece first for the drain pipe and a second pipe section for a
T piece.
2. Avoid unnecessary 90° angles in the pipe system to ensure optimal water
drainage.
3. Close the drain pipe to the side or to the bottom.
4. Observe a minimum distance of 25 mm [1 Inch] between the drain channel
and waste water drain. The manufacturer recommends a minimum distance
of 50 mm [2 Inch] to make cleaning easier.
5. If you are connecting the drain pipe in the wall, the installation height must
be between 150-300 mm [5 7/8-11 3/4 inches].
