Simulated Radar Speed Configuration Screens
The Radar configuration screens may be used to configure the simulated radar speed output from the receiver.
Minimum Speed Setting
The Min. Speed screen displays the minimum speed
at which a simulated radar speed will be output.
Press the arrow key to edit the minimum speed.
Speed Clamp Setting
Press the key to view the Clamp Speed screen.
The simulated radar speed output will be held
constant when the actual speed drops below the
clamp speed and is greater than the Min. Speed
setting.
Press the arrow key to edit the clamp speed.
Speed Hold Setting
Pressing the key will display the Hold Time
screen. This screen displays and allows the operator
to adjust the simulated radar speed hold time. When a
loss of navigation occurs, the simulated radar speed
output is held constant for a length of time specified
with the Hold Time setting.
