3. Remove the intake and discharge valve assemblies from the pump.
4. Remove the pressure transducer and clean the cavity and transducer body of excess build up.
5. Clean and inspect each assembly as instructed in the Check Valve O-Rings section on page 44.
Note: Be sure to reinstall the intake and discharge valves into the correct ports on the injection pump.
6. Perform the procedure described in the Pump Cam and Bearing section on page 46 to service the cam and
bearing.
7. Recirculate a 50% water and automotive antifreeze mixture through the injection pump to check pump
operation after reassembly as well as prevent freezing of pump components.
CAUTION
Chemical residue or build up may be present on
internal pump components. Wear gloves when
servicing internal pump assemblies.
