Acoatingisappliedtothedisplayscreen.Thismakesitwater
repellent,andpreventsglare.Toavoiddamagingthiscoating,follow
thisprocedure:
1.Switchoffthepowertothedisplay.
2.Rinsethescreenwithfreshwatertoremovealldirtparticles
andsaltdeposits.
3.Allowthescreentodrynaturally.
4.Ifanysmearsremain,verygentlywipethescreenwithaclean
microbrecleaningcloth(availablefromanopticians).
21.6Resettingyourdisplay
Yourdisplaymayberesettoitsfactorydefaultsettingsifrequired.
Yourmultifunctiondisplaymayberestoredtoitsfactorydefault
settings.
Therearetwotypesofresetoperation:
•Settingsreset.
•Settingsanddatareset.
Settingsreset
Thisoptionresetsyoursetupmenus,pagesets,anddatabar
settingstofactorydefault.ItwillNOTaffectyourwaypoints,routes,
ortracksdata.
Settingsanddatareset
Inadditiontothesettingsresetdetailedabove,performingasettings
anddataresetwillalsoremoveALLwaypoints,routes,andtracks
data.
Performingasettingsreset
1.PresstheMENUbutton.
2.Usingthetrackpad,highlighttheSystemSetupmenuitem,then
pressthetrackpadrighttoselectit.
3.Usingthetrackpad,highlighttheSettingsResetmenuitem,then
pressthetrackpadrighttoselectit.
4.Ifyouhavepassword-protectedyourwaypoints,enteryour
waypointpasswordandpresstheOKbutton.
