thewindow(0offset)oroffsetby1/3or2/3.Ifyouchangetheoffset
to1/3or2/3,theviewaheadofyourvesselwillbeincreased.
Intheexampleshownabove,themotionmodehasbeensetto
Relative,withavesseloffsetof1/3.Thevesselisxedintheoffset
positionandthechartmovesaccordingly:

WhenthemotionmodeissettoTrue,thechartisxedandthe
vesselmovesintrueperspectivetoxedlandmassesonthescreen.
Asthevessel’spositionapproachestheedgeofthescreen,the
chartpictureisautomaticallyresettorevealtheareaaheadofthe
vessel.
Note:ItisnotpossibletoselectTrueMotionwhentheorientation
issettoHeadUp.

Autorangeselectsandmaintainsthelargestpossiblescaleofchart
thatwilldisplayboththevesselandthetargetwaypoint.Autorange
isnotavailableifradar-chartsynchronizationison.

2.SelectChartSetup.
3.UsetheMotionModemenuitemtoselecttheappropriate
option.

3.UsetheVesselOffsetmenuitemtoselectthe0,1/3,or2/3
option,asappropriate.
Locatingyourvessel
Inthechartapplication:
1.PresstheFINDsoftkeyandselecttheSHIPoption.
Yourvesselisdisplayedinthecenterofthechart.
2.Tomarkthisposition,presstheWPTSMOBbuttontwice,then
presstheOKbutton.
