3.6Reservoirmounting
Thereservoirmustbemountedonabulkheadasfarabovethe
pumpandhydraulicramaspossible.
•Beforemountingthereservoir,refertotheguidanceprovidedin
the2.8Locationandmountingrequirementssection.
•Securethereservoirtotheappropriatepartofyourvessel,using
themountingholesprovided.Usesuitablestainlesssteelbolts,
washersandlocknuts.
3.7Fillingthereservoir
Thehydraulicuidreservoirissuppliedemptyandmustbelledto
thecorrectlevelwiththesuppliedhydraulicuid.
DoNOTattempttomoveoroperatethehydraulicpushrodbefore
completingthefollowingsteps:
1.Thereservoiristtedwithaspecialcapfeaturingabreather
hole,whichissealedfortransitpurposes.Removethetransit
screwandsealfromthecaptoopenthebreather.Retainthe
screwandsealforfutureuse.
2.Fillthereservoirwiththesuppliedhydraulicuidtoalevel
betweentheminimumandmaximumindicatorlines.
3.Turnthetaptothe“ON”position(tapshouldbepointingupward).
