Seagainpresets:
•Harbor—thisisthedefaultmode.Thissetting
takesaccountoflandcluttersothatsmallertargets,
likenavigationbuoys,arenotlost.
•Coastal—accountsfortheslightlyhigherlevelsof
seaclutteryoumightencounteroutofharborand
adjuststheradardisplayaccordingly.
•Offshore—Automaticallyadjustsforhighlevels
ofseaclutter.
•AUTO—thepresetoperatesinautomaticmode.
Thisisthedefault.
•MAN—allowsyoutomanuallyadjusttheintensity
oftheseagain,from0to100%.
Enableyoutoquicklyselectpre-conguredsettingsto
achievethebestpictureindifferentsituations.Each
ofthegainpresetshasagainfunction,whichisset
toautomaticmodebydefault.Raymarinestrongly
recommendstheuseofthesepresetstoachieve
optimumresults.However,youcanadjustthisgain
manuallyifrequired.
EnhanceEchoesfunctions:
•Interferencerejection—thisfunctionminimizes
theeffectofinterferencefromotherradar-eqipped
vessels.
•Expansion—enablesyoutooverridethedefault
radarpulselength,providinglargertargetreturns.
•Wakes—enablesyoutoseethedirectionand
speedofmovingtargetsrelativetoyourvessel.
INT.REJECTION:
•ON—minimizestheeffectofinterferencefrom
otherradar-equippedvessels.Therearetwo
settings—NORMAL,andHIGH.
•OFF—allowsyoutodetectthepresenceofother
radarsinthevicinity.
EXPANSION:
•ON—increasesthepulselength,givinglarger
targetreturnsthatareeasiertosee.However,
largerreturnsmaydecreasetargetresolution,and
mergeonthedisplay.Therearetwosettings—
LOWandHIGH.
•OFF—thisisthedefaultsetting.Itprovidesbetter
rangeresolution,givingyoumoredened(but
smaller)targetreturns.
WAKES:
•ON—youcanseethedirectionandspeedof
movingtargetsrelativetoyourvessel.Targetsare
displayedinyellow,turningtopalershadesofblue

thenegativeeffectsofechoesontheradardisplay.
