Usercalibrationoptionsinclude:

rateatwhichtheinstrumentdisplayrespondsto
changesinwindangledata.
•WindSpeeddisplayresponse—Dictatesthe
rateatwhichtheinstrumentdisplayrespondsto
changesinwindspeeddata.
•“Unitsforwindspeedreadings—Assignstheunit
ofmeasureusedforwindspeedrelatedreadings.
•Linearization—Performswindtransducer
linearization.
•Alignment—Alignswindtransducertovessel
heading.
Note:*Thesesettingsareonlyavailableonunits
whentheinstrumentstatussettoMaster(see
IntermediateCalibrationfordetailsofchangingthe
displaytobeMasterorRepeater).
Calibratingwind
Youwillneedtobeunderway,withsufcientspace
toturninalargeslowcircleunhindered.Conditions
shouldbecalm(i.e.aslightsea)andasteady
breeze.Trytoensurethevesselisnotrollingor
pitchingtoomuch.
Duringnormaloperation:
1.SimultaneouslypressandholdtheDownand
Actionbuttonsfor2secondstodisplaytheUser
Calibrationpage.
