Beforerstusecalibrationproceduresmustbecarriedoutto
ensureoptimumperformanceoftheinstrumentwiththevessel.
Thecalibrationproceduresare:
•Usercalibration
•Intermediatecalibration
•Groupsetup
•Dealercalibration
Note:Groupsetupisforgroupilluminationandisnotpartof
thecalibrationprocess.
Usercalibration
Thei60Closehauledwindisarepeatdisplayandassuchdoes
notrequirecalibration,thestepsbelowapplytothecalibrationof
thei60Windinstrumentonly.
Usercalibrationoptionsinclude:
•Windangleoffset
•Windspeedunits
Linearizingandaligningthewindtransducer
Youcanlinearizeandalignthewindtransducerbyfollowing
thestepsbelow.
Youwillneedtobeunderway,withsufcientspacetoturnina
largecircleunhindered.
1.Slowlyturnthevesselthrough2completecircles.
