•Dualwatch—Thismodemonitorsprioritychannel16andthecurrentlyselectedchannel.
•Triplewatch—Thismodemonitorsprioritychannel16,thesecondprioritychannel(Channel
09(default))andthecurrentlyselectedchannel.Thesecondprioritychannelcanalsobeset
toauserdefinedchannel.
Whentheradiodetectsatransmission,Watchmodeissuspendeduntilthetransmissionends;
watchmodewillthenrecommence.
SettingWatchmode
FromtheWatchModemenu:
Menu>WatchMode.
1.Select DualWatchor TripleWatchasrequired.
TheradioisnowinWatchmode.
2.Select
2ndprioritychanneltoselectadifferentsecondprioritychannelforTriplewatch.
3.DuringWatchmode,pressthe BackbuttonatanytimetoendtheWatchmodeandresume
normaloperation.
8.2ScanMode
Scanmodeenablesautomaticsearchingforchannelsthatarecurrentlybroadcasting.
Scanmodewillsearchthroughavailablechannelsandstopwhenitfindsachannelthatiscurrently
broadcasting.Ifthebroadcaststopsorislostformorethan5secondsthenthescanwillresume.
Channelscanbetemporarilyremovedfromanactivescan,andthedirectionofscancanalsobe
changed.Whenthescanreachesthelastchannelinthebandthescancycleisrepeated.
Thefollowingscansoptionsareavailable:

AllChannels—Allchannelsinthefrequencybandtheradioissettoarescannedinsequence .
•AllChannels+16—Allchannelsinthefrequencybandtheradioissettoarescanned,aftereach
channelisscannedprioritychannel16isscanned.
•
SavedChannels—Onlychannelssavedtotheradio ’smemoryarescannedinsequence.
•SavedChannels+16—Onlychannelssavedtotheradio ’smemoryarescanned,aftereach
channelisscannedprioritychannel16isscanned.

Iftheweatheralertfunctionisactivated,theweatheralertchannelisincludedinthescan.

Thedefaultsecondaryprioritychannelischannel09.Thesecondprioritychannelcanbechanged
