Theinstallationlocationmusttakeintoaccountthe
followingrequirements:
Installbelowdecksinadryarea.
Mountonaverticalsurface,thesidesandtopmust
belevel.
Locationmustbeatleast1m(3ft.)awayfromany
magneticcompass.
Safefromphysicaldamageandexcessivevibration.
Awayfromanysourceofheat.
Awayfromanypotentialammablehazard,suchas
fuelvapors.

Important:Theinstallationmustonlybeperformed
withtheboateitheronhardstanding,ortiedup
alongsideapontoonorberth.
1.Mountthecoursecomputerinanappropriate
locationandsecurewiththescrewssupplied.

Youshouldalsomounttheuxgatecompass,
autopilotcontrollerandrudderreferenceunit(if
appropriate)atthistime.
2.Routethepower,data,compassandanyother
cablesrequiredforconnectiontothecourse
computer.
3.Makeallnecessaryconnectionsintothecourse
computerconnectorpanel.
Theconnectorpanelisaccessedbyremovingthe
cover.
