Units setup
You can use the Units Setup screen to set:
Temperature (TEMP) units to either °C or °F.
Speed (SPD) units to either knots (KTS), kilometers per hour (KMH) or miles
per hour (MPH).
TRIP distance units to either nautical miles (NM), kilometers (KM) or statute
miles (SM).
DEPTH units to either feet (FT), fathoms (FA) or meters (M).
WIND speed units to either knots (KTS) or meters per second (M/S).
Setting units
With the Units Setup screen displayed, use the key to display each data type in
turn and for each, use the
track or reset key to select the required unit.
Waypoint identity
Determines whether waypoints are identified by name (WP NAME) or by number
(WP NO).
Select NMEA or auxiliary alarm
If the ST60 Multi is connected to NMEA, select ON. If the Auxiliary Alarm option is
fitted select OFF, to enable the Auxiliary Alarm.
Auxiliary alarm enable
If the Auxiliary Alarm option is fitted, use this screen to determine which alarms
you want to sound at the Auxiliary Alarm. The screen heading shows which alarm
you are setting, and when you have set one alarm, press the key to display and
set the next alarm.
ON
= alarm enabled, OFF = alarm disabled.
The screen titles and associated alarms are displayed in the following sequence:
Title Alarm function
SHALLOW Shallow alarm
DEEP ALM Deep alarm
ANCHOR Anchor alarm
WIND ALM High true wind speed
