to
go
on

The
light
indicates
the
battery
in
that
compartment
is
inserted
correctly
and
taking
a
charge.
If
the
light
does
not
go
on,
check
to
ensure:
¥
Positive
(+)
sign
on
battery
matches
(+)
sign
on
the
Charger.
¥
Battery
is
properly
seated
in
compartment
(only
one
battery
per
compartment).

Charger
is
fully
plugged
into
the
electrical
wall
outlet
(fig.
5).
$#
Battery
needs
charging.
It
may
already
be
fully
charged.
Occasionally,
a
Rechargeable
Alkaline
Battery
inserted
correctly
may
not
cause
the
charging
light
to
go
on.
Leave
it
in
the
Charger,
and
check
it
in
1
hour.
If
the
light
still
does
not
go
on,
discard
the
battery.
