REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
8 Position lower half of the chain
guard to align mounting holes and
re-attach securely to frame.
9 Position upper half of the chain
guard to align mounting holes and
re-attach securely to frame.
7 Reset chain tensioner.
11 Re-insert the hardware
removed in step 1 and securely
tighten in place.
10 Re-insert the bolt through
the rear axle on the inside of the
rear wheel and securely tighten
with nut.
Replacing the Chain
Tools Required: 5 mm Allen Wrench, 6 mm Allen Wrench, 19 mm Wrench, 10 mm Wrench and Phillips Screwdriver.
2 Using a 5 mm Allen wrench
and 10 mm wrench, remove the nut
and bolt from the rear axle on the
inside of the rear wheel as shown.
Remove wheel.
3 Remove the three (3) Phillips
screws from the upper half of the
chain guard and remove.
1 Using a 6 mm Allen wrench,
remove center bolt and washers.
5 Spread the chain tensioner apart
to loosen chain.
6 Remove the chain around the
rear and motor sprockets. Install
replacement chain
4 Remove the two (2) Phillips
screws from the lower half of the
chain guard and remove.
WARNING:
Do not touch motor after use.
Motor is (or can be) very hot.
