, EVERY SIX MONTHS
• Atregularintervalsthebladesetshouldberemovedandcleaned.
• Removethe2screwsretainingthexedbladewithascrewdriver.Donot
remove blade set.
• Brushouthairsfrombetweenthebladeswithsoftcleaningbrush.Donot
remove the lubricating grease from the blades. It is not necessary to remove
the small moving blade from the unit.
• Ifthemovingbladehasbeenremovedthiscanbere-ttedbyslottingthe
blade holder over the pin in the centre of the interior product head. The
groove on the blade, just below the teeth, rests on a metal plate at the
oppositesidetothescrewholes.Thexedbladeisttedwiththeraised
prolepointingoutwardsandxedwiththe2screws.
• Ifthebladesarenotcorrectlyaligned,cuttingeciencywillbeimpaired.
• Placeafewdropsofcutterorsewingmachineoilontotheblades.Wipeo
excess oil.
• Donotuseliquidcleanersonthebladesorharshorcorrosivechemicalson
the blade casing. Always use a soft brush to remove the accumulated hairs.
• Unplugthechargeadaptorfromthepoweroutletwhenttingorremoving
attachments, or while cleaning the product.
• Alwaysstorethisapplianceandcordinamoisture-freearea.
• Donotwrapthecordofthechargingadaptoraroundtheappliance.
BATTERY REMOVAL
• Thebatterymustberemovedfromtheappliancebeforeitisscrapped.
• Theappliancemustbedisconnectedfromthesupplymainswhenremoving
the battery.
• Ensurethattheclipperisdischargedofallpoweranddisconnectedfromthe
mains
• LiftorprytheUSBportcoverplateonthebottomoftheclipper.
• Liftorprythedecoplateonthelowerportionoftheclipperandunscrew1
screw located on the back housing of the clipper.
• Liftorprytheclipperhalvesapart,exposingthebatterychamber.
• Removethebatteryandprintedcircuitboardassemblyfromthebattery
chamber.
• Cutthetabsonbothendsofthebatteryandremoveitfromtheprinted
circuit board.
• Thebatteryistobedisposedofsafely.
