Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why is my hair still growing despite treatment?
A. After your initial treatment, it may appear that hairs are continuing to grow, when they are just being “pushed out”. Continue with the treatment
regimen and you’ll start to see results within a few weeks.
Q. Is i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face & Body dangerous to the skin after prolonged use?
A. Light-based devices have been used in a clinical setting for over 15 years. There have not been any reported side effects or skin damage from
long-term use of lasers or intense pulse light.
Q. Why can’t I use i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face & Body after recent sun exposure?
A. Sun exposure causes high levels of melanin to be present and exposes the skin to higher risk of burns or blisters following treatment.
Q. What are the warnings against using i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face & Body?
A. Certain conditions may limit your ability to use the unit. Please read the Warnings and Safety Precautions section in the User Manual in its
entirety before using i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face & Body.
Q. Can I use i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face & Body if I am pregnant or nursing?
A. No. i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face & Body has not been tested on pregnant women, therefore we do not recommend using the i-LIGHT
®
PRO+ Face &
Body if you are pregnant or breast feeding. Hormonal changes could increase sensitivity and the risk of injury to the skin.
